Cavalcades
Wallpaper & Border Strip
Musée de la Toile de Jouy

The Prix Toile de Jouy honors designers and students who help perpetuate the legacy of Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf, founder of the renowned manufacture and creator of 30,000 Toile de Jouy patterns.

Mathilde Burkard continues this tradition by creating Cavalcades, a collection of wallpapers and decorative friezes, in collaboration with the Musée de la Toile de Jouy.

The 2024 edition of the Prize was dedicated to equestrian sports, echoing the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the equestrian events held in the Yvelines region. This theme was particularly meaningful to the designer, herself a passionate horse rider.

Mathilde Burkard continues this adventure by bringing the "Cavalcades" motif to life on a collection of wallpapers and decorative friezes, created in collaboration with the Musée de la Toile de Jouy.

"Cavalcades" is produced in France and available in various formats and colorways:

  • Wallpaper panels on non-woven paper (68.5 x 300 cm)
  • Pre-pasted wallpaper sheets (6 sheets of 50 x 36.5 cm)
  • Decorative frieze (10 cm x 5 m)
